Tour: Experience and Innocence tour
Songs played: 26
Audio recordings: 2
  1. oh well, great setlist changes. I think many mates here are busy for socials comments, mixrl, snapchat, concerts recordings, using smartphones without interruptions etc etc everything except music. How can you listen to every concert with the same setlists otherwise? Why in Tulsa 27 songs now 24 ca. So when you will go to the real physical show with payed tickets you still know everything: lights, songs, video, stage. Isn't it boring? Am i wrong or am i right?ciao

yes, so boring. Hope for a setlist with 13/14 songs as boy tour and where they played The Ocean and 11 O'Clock Tick Tock twice

Agree, but to be fair we might have expected Wild Horses to stick around/at least rotate and have another rotation early on

    ?
  5. I guess "narrative" is the new "rotation"

I mean, look at Springsteen - once the master of setlist rotation - now on Broadway, night after night he does the same thing (well, most of the times anyway ).

It's just that I think that the lack of rotation is not something you can judge the quality of the show on.

With that said, it is a bit of a pity that U2 has dropped some songs without replacing them. Still an awesum show in my opinion, but even for my positive mind it is rather unexplainable that Red Flag Day is only played so scarcely...
  6. I think now that I have an idea of what to expect and adjusted my expectations accordingly I’m enjoying the show more again. I think the band are sounding like they’re comfortable with the show now too and over the course certain songs or versions of songs have grown on me. My complaints are limited now to the way the encore starts and the version of SBS they are playing but I’m really getting into the UTEOTW intro live just wish it was following something better. Overall though I’m glad I stayed up to listen to/watch it last night.
  7. Narrative and set list nailed down in ready mix concrete. The next tour could be a residencey in Vegas with a matinee and evening performance to choose from.

  8. Yes, it did. (Made for bad pictures though.

I'll add this to my short review... it's easy to criticize this show from your computer. But seeing it live... I got it. I got everything about it. The whole concept... innocence to experience and back again. Brilliant. No lack of energy. No confused crowds. No lack of audience interest or intensity. Not from where I was anyway...

So, in short... until you see it for yourself - STFU! And after that, if you don't get it or don't enjoy, it may be time to find another band to latch your hopes onto!
  9. Glad you liked it BEB.
