    So subjective obviously. U2's best album for me is Joshua Tree. One average track on it (Trip Through Your Wires) and sometimes I enjoy Trip. It is the only album I can listen to at anytime, in any kind of mood all the way through it sounds good. So it is impossible to overate it for me.

    Overrated to me is Zooropa. For me, it actually sounds slapped together quickly versus the normal time it takes U2 to "cook" their albums.

    Underrated is Bomb. There are a lot of good songs there, most of them. I think the order isn't the greatest, but with some re arranging of the order it is a solid album to me.
    Ha! I just noticed that I pretty much did the opposite of you! (It was between Zooropa and Pop for "most underrated').

    I appreciate your comment about TTYW on JT. Remove it and the album becomes perfection to me.

  4. As one who loves SOE, I still can acknowledge your point.

    I do wonder if that’s because we are still in the “honeymoon phase” with the album and tour going on? Time will tell how well it will stand up in the whole discography...

    For me I think SOE is a top 5 U2 album but at the beginning I also figured it was just the “honeymoon phase” but today marks 6 months since the albums release and I still love it just as much so I think the album is truly fantastic like with innocence for example after about 2 months the newness wore off and I stopped liking it as much but experience for me at least is still going strong

  9. In my opinion, Songs of Experience is U2 worse album, with all songs Adding nothing new musically, lyrically and creativity with all of them with a sense of deja-vu. I don t need any more new álbuns, just that they play all their catalogue and no more Vertigo, pride, bloody Sunday, beautiful day, elevation, Stuck in a moment...ive been attending all tours since Zootv Lisbon and the setlists always have something in common

    That deja-vu may have something to do with experience and reflection.

  12. I understand this choice. I think War deservedly gets a lot of "props" due to its heavy hitters like SBS, NYD, and 40. Although I really like Drowning Man, many of the other songs on the album are so so.
