I always felt like I was in the minority but I absolutely love SOI. I listened to it full again recently and enjoyed basically every moment. SOE has grown on me slightly but I still don’t like it nearly as much as SOI. I also listened through No Line recently as well and really enjoyed it. There are moments and ideas on that album that really make me feel it was a masterpiece in the making but got a little bogged down with overthinking and overproduction. It’s funny that the last few albums I’ve grabbed lately to throw on from u2 have been post 2000.
But there's nothing that I dislike enough to skip through when listening... and when i'm pulling out the vinyl, no line usually wins over atyclb and htdaab...
