1. I have always been fascinated by iem recordings. Recently on here some folks were talking about some "off pa chatter" - for lack of a better phrase - between Edge and Dallas on TJT tour last year when the band was not on the main stage and Edge needed certain guitar effects triggered during songs.

If there was an iem recording where there was a lot of this type of band chatter that was clear and obvious during a regular show, I think that would be neat to hear.

I know there is an edge feed from, I think 2010, just as they are about to start Magnificent and you hear Edge say something like "there's maggots in my headset again!" i always assumed this was his way of letting the crew know he was having issues, maybe with static or other interference, in a moment clearly intended just for the crew. Then you hear an audible click as he - i am guessing - changes his iem frequency output from "only let the crew hear this" back to the PA - and the normal Magnifcent intro and count ins start.
  2. ^ I've heard a few IEMs from ie (no I can't share them) where Edge is talking to Dallas. Pretty interesting to hear what is essentially a talkback mic in this context

Nuno, thank you for the excellent records made available to you.
You, Sharebear, Chrisedge and JEMS are masters. And we are very grateful.

    Yes !
  5. Yes, but if there is a better IEM recording - i would take that, it was my first U2 show, but i doubt it even exists.

    +1
  7. Any decent quality ZooTV show that we don’t already have. A really good recording of Rotterdam 1993-05-11 or East Rutherford 1992-03-18 would be especially awesome.

I don’t know if that even exists but just in case I guess.

I'm gathering votes from a few sites and in the end the request with more votes will be upload.

IE Tour~ Glasgow 2,7/11/2015....Live Bono vocal for (I think it was reported) first time on the tour of the intermission portion of the show for The Fly.And the first time in 23 years of WOWY with Shine Like Stars snippet & Love Will Tear Us Apart snippet.

Thanks in advance on whatever you decide to share.
  9. My prayer is for Vancouver 2015 rehearsals. If you want a more precise date, I request 2015-04-27.

But I'm sure I'll appreciate anything you'll share
  10. Will be interesting to see how this comes out as these votes seem to be all over the map! Basically "X" show I attended personally seems to be the majority.

Those of you going Zoo TV are probably barking up the wrong tree. Not a lot of IEM's from that time frame (I can think of one). You are more likely to find an unreleased soundboard over an IEM from that time frame and since Nuno said IEM requests you are most likely wasting your vote. But maybe I will be proven wrong!

Blue--I think this is more about the "process" as opposed to the result. Can't just release a recording without a scene, it's gotta be a big production.
