Do you really think this Argentinian team with their internal conflicts and null teamwork or strategy can win vs Nigeria? I think Nigeria are favorites to classify.

I would say Argentina will be the favourites, certainly with the bookmakers and in my mind also with the individual quality they have in the team. Considering them favourites though certainly doesn’t mean I think they’re guaranteed to go through, it will probably be a shakey 1 goal margin win, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they had another shambolic performance and Nigeria won.
  3. Who scored the 2 goals for Nigeria? Yes it was Mussa, once played for VVV in the dutch eredivisie (south of holland). Great they win. If Argentina qualified for the 2nd round, they're so lucky and will never get through. Good for the tournament Brazil won today. Tomorrow more interesting games: Belgium-Tun, Mexico-Sth Corea and the evening game Germany-Sweden that will be exciting.

That would be the same individual quality that has so far done nothing except revert to type and kick lumps out of their opponents. Don't forget there is history between argentina and nigeria and scores to be settled plus a draw is enough for nigeria to at least remove them from the equation. Plus Nigeria actually beat them 4-2 not much more than six months ago. Good luck to Nigeria.
  5. What a game!
  6. Switzerland just scored 2-1
  7. Shaqiri, what a player he is when he really wants to play

that was without Messi and Argentina leading at halftime before the entire team was shuffled. Of course they are the favorites, but if they play like they did the past 2 games they better go home anyway.
  9. He's not really made a difference for the last two games has he? Argentina imploded last night. Their senior players are reported to want the manager sacking before the Nigeria game. The only thing that could act in their favour is a few dodgy refereeing decisions brought on through FIFA bowing to pressure from sponsors who are crapping themselves that a second round without argentina, brazil and germany is a very real possibility.

he always makes a diffence by just being on the pitch and taking the attention of at least two defenders. They only have to figure out the right tactics to make use of that.
