  2. Haha, sorry, I maybe should have clarified that.

    Shared all of the highlights for me last night...now that I’m awake the next morning and thinking back on the night, I feel the same about the “lowlights” as I did in Chicago:

    -Play other SOI songs in place of Cedarwood and Iris. Loved this part in 2015 but it’s like the band are just doing this out of obligation now.

    -I love Bono and his conviction, but please find another way to begin the encore that doesn’t include a long speech. That was one of only a few moments where some people around me - drunk and smoking the whole time, mind you - were going, “what is he talking on and on about?” Maybe he just seemed extra rambling last night. But I’d actually like to see Beautiful Day open the encore, as it feels a little too early in this show as is, anyway, and would provide a spark of energy to come down from. I understand that it’s too close in the set to GOOYOW, but...maybe the band shouldn’t have written a song that’s almost a copy of BD then.

    Otherwise, still loving this show and can cross U2 at MSG off my bucket list.

    Yea seriously I don’t get it. And you were right Remy, AS absolutely crushed last night. I think it gets the biggest reaction out of the SOE songs.

    Probably mostly (or partly) because of the giant flag? Just thinking out loud - I haven't even watched or listened to the song live. Ever. So I don't know how/when the flag unfolds or anything.

    It’s just very heavy live and the chorus works great live with a good crowd.

    No it's the sound (pun intended). It sounds really heavy, with heavy bass and drums. It just gets everyone going.
