Tour: Experience and Innocence tour
Songs played: 26
Audio recordings: 3
Videos: 1
  1. I had something like that in mind for a 4th choice.

    Did it!
  2. How long must U2 play this crappy setlist for how long?. Cause tonight they will only rotate 1 song in tonight and every night. People shell out big bucks for both shows in one city to hear 1 different song played. All the people who sit in front of their computers and waste their time listening to mxlrs hoping for a surprise is just that a waste of time. It will never happen. These guys are in cruise control. U2 has dropped the only good song Wild Horses cause Edge wants to keep it a 24 song set. Maybe if they would rotate the setlist more ticket sales would increase ? Why can't they at least rotate Red Flag Day and Gloria for Electric Co and Out of Control. The bring back Wild Horses after One and close the show with Love Is Bigger instead of 13 which puts the crowd to sleep and most people walk out anyway at this point. I Will Follow, Pride and Sunday Bloody Sunday need to go as does acoustic Best Thing. Bring back Bad/All I Want Is You and Land Lady/Song for Someone.
  3. LOL at B...will never happen.
O that they were a band who could decide one gig to perform an entire album...it is U2, after all- spontaneity is not their thing, never really has been

    B. A stripped down production value with crazy setlist changes the way Springsteen & Radiohead do.

    C. I don't care either way.

    D. The show is fine but it needs spontaneity and freshness in 1 or 2 song slots.
  4. Just got back from the show. It was great. Not the best but definitely un upper half of all U2 shows attended. Start was great, ABOY wasn't as good as expnected and then the i+e part doesn't work imo except for CR. Second half is amazing... Acrobat had same applause as all hits, Best Thing isn't that bad in this form when you're there and people reacted nicely... Before SATS Bono said they are proud of Pop. SATS was great and people sang it... And even if I'm not fan of GOOYOW and AS, it works finely. Just 13 is weird ending... Bono just leaves from B-stage and that's all... then there is no one to applause for because when you turn to main stage, it's already empty...
    But overal really great show
  5. That (+ Acrobat) must already have been worth the trip

(I need to hear it back before I believe it )

    I vote for D too

Although I do think the show is already excellent as it is. I just think it could be even better
  7. So far... is E+I as good as JT 2017 tour?

    A. Hell yeah!

    B. Yes!

    C. Equal

    D. No

    E. A resounding Hell no.

Yes how long must they sing those songs. I think Europe won't change a lot or nothing. That's why I stick only with the AMS shows. Don't get a ticket for Cologne, I wanted it but no. It's not worth the price if you see the setlist. Only rotate ABOY with Gloria uhhh.... I prefer Gloria in the AMS 2nd show I suppose. Let's hope we get RFD.

Only spontaneity really they do is their tour productions. Setlists though - its like buying a car with one wheel or a house with no roof - not a chance in hell.

  11. In terms of where Every Breaking Wave and Summer of Love's places in the set, I'd imagine Summer of Love would be sandwiched somewhere between You're The Best Thing and American Soul, and Every Breaking Wave just before Pride?

Summer Of Love was just Bono and Edge in the rehearsals I just heard, acoustic. So I imagine it would replace The Best Thing (or Staring At The Sun).
