  2. Great saves from both keepers. The little England fans in my house are very happy. Last time my eldest had a grin this wide was at Twickenham last summer for Streets.

  6. No they weren’t great and they’ve still got a bit of learning to do. Having dealt with the physical threat from Colombia well they then sat too deep near the end and got sucked into that equaliser. They then seemed low in confidence in the 1st half of extra time but the fact they got the win in the end will give them a massive boost and huge belief going forward. We’ll see where that belief takes them but if I had to put my money on it now I really think they’ll be beaten finalists. Who knows though they could win it all or they could get beat of Sweden next, that’s the nature of this World Cup. Yeah Belgium vs Brazil is set up to be a real classic, I’ll jinx it now and say I can see that being a high scoring game.
  7. Me neither, we scraped through, but we deserved to. Good justice for some disgraceful behaviour and complete disregard for fair play from many of the Columbian team on and off the pitch. I would be ashamed of my team if I were a Columbian fan, because they might have snagged it if they weren't playing silly beggars.

  10. Ok, yes, the Colombian team concentrated on fouling, diving and screaming to the referee, but I saw some England players diving like in a swimming pool trying to trick the referee team.
    There were no saints today.

    1) Colombia are [moderated]
    2) Ironically, if they weren't [moderated] and played like how they did towards the end they probably would have won
    3) Harry Kane doesn't miss penalties
    4) Ref had a shocker
    5) Thats a red card end of. If it wasn't a red card, then looking at the law book, thats not even a foul then, as a head-but is a red card. Technically there should never be a yellow card given for that as it doesn't even exist as a punishment
    6) We've won fucking penalties holy shit balls
    7) I dare you to look any Englishman in the eye and tell them it's not coming home. Because I am telling you that is fate, that is the difference between old and new.

    True, Henderson didn't really need to go down like he did (when he got headbutted in the chest and chin) but the ref was so incompetant they had to make him aware somehow.
