Cmon. You think the band are choosing to do this to dissuade people from multiple shows? Not a chance. And it wasn’t exactly hard to get a ticket to this tour.
  2. And just like that, the leg is over. Starting with Omaha, they had 6 weeks with practically the same show for every night on the road.
  3. i like it as a closer too, but casuals are left wondering what's next LOL..oh, it's over? OK. I like how it ties back to SOI and SFS. Damn, that is it
  4. Bring on Europe...
  5. Casuals will be baffled if it's not WOWY closing the show or something like that.
I thought MOS was an excellent closer, but casuals still were leaving the place during the song. Maybe U2 thought "screw it, they were going to leave anyway, let's play what we want".

Yup. Just checked Dublin--no tickets. :-(
  7. Same boring setlist I see.

  8. I think it’s perfect too.

That’s it folks, the North American leg is over. Actually a pretty sad night. If they never come back, it will be even sadder. I latched onto this album and this tour unlike any album or tour (for any artist) ever. There are a couple of things I would have changed, but if I could have, I would have loved to have been at every show on this tour. If they ever do come back, I know I’m only getting one or two of these songs live again, and that’s the toughest part about any tour, the current album becomes a part of the back catalogue and a band moves on. A microcosm of life, always evolving and moving ahead, but drawing closer and closer to the end.
  9. Will Europe get the same setlists?

I'm right there with you--for some reason this album and tour resonated with me big time and I loved the fact that U2 did a personal narrative and included so many new songs... I wish they had done more like Summer of Love, Ordinary Love, and Book of Your Heart. But, it was a great tour, for me at least, and I'm looking forward to hearing the European leg.
