    Is E+I as good as JT 2017?
  8. Not even close.It's not even as good as I&E 2015.
    Having said that, it is still a good show, just not a great one.
  9. I liked it more than Joshua Tree.
    Both felt like going through the motions but there is something about E+I which felt better. I just can't point what is it.
    I do like the setlist more, with a few caveats
  10. I’ve not been to an E&I gig yet but i’d imagine it’s much more of a ‘show’ than TJT17 was. I know there was still the big screen last year but it didn’t feel like a big production and was more about the songs themselves it seems. This tour they seem to be embracing the technology again. Both ways of doing things have there advantages and I look forward to finding out for myself what I make of the E&I tour but I reckon TJT17 show I attended will go down as my favourite ever unless they do an Achtung Baby tour just because of the quality of the songs, it was like a dream hearing RHMT, OTH and exit all in the same show amongst plenty other crackers.
  11. as much as , I would have liked a little more variety in the show. it took me 2 days to realize that it wasn't a rock n roll show, but more like music theater.
