) but for me it's all about the context that the "cheesy lyrics" exist in. The song is for and about his son, a musician, set on the same journey Bono once was. You either like the aged rockstar looking back on his past thing or you don't, but in this case I really love it. To me it's sort of an "ultimate U2 song", if that makes sense. It's a real 'song of experience'. It's Bono looking at his son, who's about the same age Bono was when he started and saying EVERYTHING without really saying much at all.
