Underwhelming??? What show were you watching, as always a great concert. OK, won’t go down as a classic gig but still amazing and loved every minute.

Now I loved I+e in 2015, thought it was taking the live show to another level, I’ve been sceptical as to how they might be able to improve it and in my opinion they haven’t really. I don’t think the SOE songs are strong enough. Don’t get me wrong I love Blackout and great as an opener, RFD is great as well, would have liked AS to have stayed, SOL needs some work and think the encore is fairly weak. Yes they have tied their hands over no JT songs but I kind of get that. ETBTRT was excellent, NYD was simply stunning and the absolute highlight. The Ocean segue I can understand the personal connection Bono has and loved the Mac intro to Acrobat. I didn’t really keep track of time or number of songs as overall I enjoyed the show but I’ve seen many better U2 shows but they are still better then most bands out there.
Oh by the way listening to my recording as I’m typing this ???
