  3. Same. I was bored most of the time. Something wasn't right sound-wise. And the show really lacks energy, removing American Soul from the set doesn't help there. The encore is the most boring encore since the last tour.

    Acrobat, Blackout, NYD etc. are still a good reason to keep going though

  4. This really sucks indeed. Bono now fills that gap with speeches.
  5. Really long speeches. Summer and Love and Even Better. Yikes man.

    That megaphone shouting during the intro to Pride is ear shatteringly abysmal.

  8. Pretty much aggree with the comments above. Enjoyable night, but if I compare it with other U2 concerts I have seen, it leaves a lot to be desired. Besides fabulous Acrobat, great Blackout and NYD, I would add Love Is Bigger as one of the absolute highlights.

    As much as this show should be about "narrative," as has been said many times, I don't see it. The Wall is a narrative, this is not. Plus it lacks the good old concept of a rock show, where you build up the atmodphere towards the cimax in the end. And even if I would accept the "narrative" concept, how the hell Little Things doesn't fit in and Elevation does? And COBL being the new Streets? Give me one fan who would buy it. And yeah, Bono speaks a lot even for his standard

    Okay, I am being quite critical, but the fact is, that I am really looking forward to seeing it again tonight (on the other hand I have no regrets that I won't be seeing it more than 2 times). I will write more detailed review and post photos the next week, when I get home.
  9. They should know by now how to play elavation, vertigo and so on...... They should rehears songs they haven't played in a while.

    During Bono's speech before one some sea images from the previous video of summer of love came up on the screen for a second or two...
