  3. Thinking about it, I think they have a great album, which deserves its own tour, which this is not and the connection between those 2 albums is not that strong to make for 2 identical tours. I think it is like if instead of doing PopMart they took the ZOO TV stage and did the ZOO TV2 with some Pop songs sqeezed in.

And yeah, Bono speaks a lot even for his standard

    Okay, I am being quite critical, but the fact is, that I am really looking forward to seeing it again tonight (on the other hand I have no regrets that I won't be seeing it more than 2 times). I will write more detailed review and post photos the next week, when I get home.
    I haven’t seen the show yet (Dublin, November) but I’ve watched and listened from time to time. This narrative thing is becoming a downside to the tour rather than enhancing it. I don’t get it. U2 shouldn’t be stubborn enough to not play some songs. 98% of the audiences will be casual fans, not diehards like us lot! In fact they maybe accused of taking their audience for granted on this tour. By all means promote your new music but give the punters what they want too. They might come back and see you again in 4 years time.

    The encore I can’t fathom at all. These guys are doing this for 40 years, surely they realize at this stage that it’s underwhelming. To persist with it is either stubbornness or laziness!

    This band has been at the top when it becomes to live shows. Few bands come close and I’ve always enjoyed there shows immensely. The lack of significant rotation I can live with. The combination of quality sets and innovation with technology has been their strength. This tour has the technology, just lacking a decent set list.

    Amazing gig, always is. What are we actually expecting??? A complete overhaul of the American set, was never gonna happen. In a couple of years they will not be touring and we will give anything to watch them live again.

  7. I listened to the show last night my first time on the tour I was pleasantly surprised i really enjoyed it and will be tuning in again tonight think we might get Gloria and Desire this evening
