2018-09-08 - Paris
Tour: Experience and Innocence tour
Songs played: 25
Audio recordings: 2
Videos: 2
  1. Nothing off NLOTH thanks. Worst album by a country mile
  2. Haha, for the record I completely agree, I just threw that in there for some variety and because I know there are people who like that album.
  3. Oh man those sound checks sound very good
  4. Just back from Paris...I really enjoyed the second night a lot more...partially since in RZ but there was more energy. a few minor surprises (boy on stage, Edge right beside us for Pride, ABOY...and a very sinister Macphisto post-Swedish election results)..
  5. Even though I was at the back of a rammed GA I enjoyed the show so much more than night 1, possibly helped by being surrounded by fans who actually knew the songs outside of the hits.

Always a game changer. The fans around you IMO can totally make a show 100% better.

Agree GA was quite tight near the stage end later in the gig...got stuck there after going to B-stage. I deliberately did not follow the US Leg(no setlists, pix or video which was very hard!) so that I could see EOI totally fresh live at Paris 1/2.

Conclusion...strange show in some ways...bits of SOI we have already seen, best bits dropped, missing some of the best songs of the new album (Little Things for example which was played last year) and missing some huge standards....Streets, WOWY (no great loss but even I missed it on night 1) !
  8. Did someone say Landlady sounds good?.....

Bono's sung the entire thing a complete octave below lol.
