  1. Hmm I thought too that it was a glitch, but when you watch that moment in a YT video, you can hear him acting like he's on the phone with Ali and says to her she shall turn off the radio...and saying "U2 is on the radio"..and that he's in Paris.. just listen to his monologue.

    Maybe it was part of the show, or maybe it was just Bonos poor attempt to distract the audience from it

    They continued as if nothing has happened.

    Well, at least Bono got heard! And of course there are people who "dislike" what Bono says - or Mr. MacPhisto… That's the whole point!

    I love how in the beginning the camera moves from the mirror on the e-stage to the screen where Mr. MacPhisto is - great little moment of suspense
