This isn't a great show , it's a good show that needs lifting by a few great songs adding repetition.
    Ah so you've seen it?

It was just covers though for weddings, party’s etc. Our bass player would hate when I suddenly was like ‘let’s play this song’ with only a couple of rehearsals to go and when we hadn’t even mastered what we already had in front of us, it always seemed to work out well on the night though.
The repetitive setlist can be a bit boring for a band and the audience however U2 are playing a new album and added different songs since the US leg most other band's of their era are on a constant nostalgic trip playing just old songs, for people who saw U2 in the 80s or early 90s most people hadn't a clue what they had played the previous gig it wasn't until years later with the revolution of the Internet and various books now it's a minute by minute commentary by these U2 fan sites telling you what snippets were sang what the singer said before each song etc but concerts were never designed for that you have to be there to really feel what's going on.I saw the Rolling Stones this year I didn't care what they played the previous gig it doesn't make a difference unless your the 5% that follows a tour

Funny thing though: The Rolling Stones' last tour had a lot of variation. In London, for instance, night two had six different songs than night one
  6. I think the same. These shows are my least favourites. I've been to Koln and Paris.
They're good shows, but i've seen so much better from them.

To be honest, stop listening to every show then.
  8. All Because of You or Red Flag Day tonight then?

  9. of course. but on the basis of my personal experience have to admit the e+i is huge disappointment for me, probably the most boring show I have ever been to...
  10. Yeah better to wait judgement until you see it. It's really a good show. The setlist is static and of course for us die-hards lots of room for improvement, but songs like The Blackout and Acrobat make the show
