  1. Should be an incentive for U2 to do an insane encore.
  2. You are fucking kidding surely that is crazy man lol
  3. line for ams2 can start before but only by peeps who do NOT go to ams 1 !!!

and yes, in the past weeks many times fans have left as early as during one to go outside to either start the line or get numbers ....

i have totally stopped queing because the sound is MUCH better further away at the sides of the screen and you have great view PLUS you see both stages, and in this case, the new block from insde the barricage ...
  4. Haven't you heard? Line for Ams2 started last tuesday in front of decathlon. There's only one check in: monday, 4 o'clock. I'm number 42!

  5. These lines and their self governance should be abolished.
    Its complete nonsense .
These people need to get a life .
  6. I think it is really crazy to left a wonderful concert earlier to be on front of a line for the next concert the day after. Okay I would like to see and hear them the nearest possible but the way it is working now is really crazy.

What a bullshit! I hope you are joking haha
  8. On a serious note, I feel it's important to keep a sane perspective on queueing and being in front.

One of the things I love about U2 is their incredible gift of energy. At some tours, I've been in the rafters or somewhere in the back, and still got touched by the band's presence, their sound and their emotions as strongly as if I was way in front. This is what I view as U2's essence and talent. To multiply their energy and share, share and share, with us, their fans.

For me, and many others, this means that walking away from a concert to queue for the next us not only slightly mad, but rude. Incredibly rude. Rude towards the band, because they give their very best, time and again. The only thing we need to do is repay them with our presence and attention (ok, and a little money ?). How one can simply walk out before the end of a concert because of something like a queue, is quite beyond me.

And second, it's rude towards those people who didn't even manage to get a single ticket for this tour. I almost missed out myself, and I felt so devastated. The thought of people walking out of something that loads of other people would love to attend...I mean

    So yeah. Dat dus.

(Thanks to Remy for providing a much more concise viewpoint elsewhere on this great forum)
  9. I totally agree. Only REAL sad bastards do this. And I mean really really sad folks! Get a life. Go and look at the culture of the city you are in. Learn something new. Stroll in about half an hour before showtime and enjoy it all for christ sake!
  10. I usually do what I can to be as close as possible to the band but leaving early is nonsense
  11. Each to their own but I find those who queue for days to be weird and freakish. They also piss the band off constantly hogging the rails.
