  5. I still think the Fly Boston 2001 higher pitch tone is the best version for live but I’m happy they still played the fly
  6. It wasn’t a perfect performance of the song but I’m glad it’s in the Setlist and hope it keeps it place. Just one thing I noticed are edges vocals for the chorus not sung live? Doesn’t sounds live to me anyway.

    No, they did not. The techs ran through a rough instrumental version. At this point it does not appear the band has played it in soundcheck at all. Could change, but do not count on it.


    It's not the first time they've done similar things with that song over the years. Something like that happened on 360. Wouldn't surprise me if it was just a go to or a favourite of someone's in the crew?

    Sung live and more backing vocals on top I think
  12. OMFG what a show. First time GA and we were 3 from the stage on Edges side. Truly worth flying all the way from Australia. Met some great Italians from near Venice who thought their 300km was a long way to travel for a concert, haha, priceless.
    Can’t wait to review some pics and vids from the show. It really seemed to be high energy and Bono loved the crowd going off. Reception was really poor and couldn’t get a periscope started unfortunately.
    Good seats tomorrow night and would be very happy with same set list. Bring it on. At the moment stirring in an Irish bar in Navigli pumping out the U2 tunes and having a drink!
