sure, but I think setllist changes are a bit overrated here. It's all about the passion they're bringing it with and also your own experience that make or break a show. They can even play Elevation 25 times in a row and still make a great show when they're on it and sometimes it's just not there.. I think that's the main difference. Of course changing things a bit could help the band to feel fresh and full of energy, but a setlist change in itself should not make or break a show. But I know some people think like that and I think that's a pity.
    Totally agree

(Apart from the 25x Elevation that is )
  2. I would have liked The Miracle (OYR) instead of Elevation. I think the intro could be sort of the same
  3. So you would enjoy them playing your favourite song as much as them playing your least favourite song if the passion and energy was the same for both?
  4. Show started! A little early...

No, that's not what I'm saying. Favorite songs always have something extras, and least favorable could be turn into very enjoyable when played with much passion...

But there not much U2 songs that I don't like...

But the song selection does still matter, it’s not the only factor and I don’t think u2 do bad shows or many bad songs but songs that we generally favour appearing in the show will positively influence how we feel about that show I’d suggest unless they completely butcher a song to the point the crowd notice i’d accept that as an exception.
  8. Anyway already enjoying tonight’s show and looking forward to the rest of it. Might end up being my new favourite of the tour.
