Out of interest does anyone have any experience of the ‘new’ security? How long does it roughly take to get in? Just wondering what time to get there based on a guesstimate of 8.30 kick-off?

    7?

7 probably sounds like a safe bet. Even if it turns out you're really early you can still enjoy a couple beers in the arena. Better to be inside than waiting outside.

Cheers bud - absolutely. I think I’ll go for that. I’m sure it’s as efficient as they can make it now as it’s been back open for quite a while and it’s a very popular venue.
  4. No issues with GA or queueing at Depeche Mode concert ? my only tune at the arena since the attack
  5. Wasn't there Golden Circle?
  6. ive been a few times since the terrorist attack great security and never had to queue long even got my bridge camera in, no bother just showed them it and that the lens wasn't detachable..
  7. Edit..ignore. Already posted

I was at the NG gig too and didnt see any noticeable delays.
It was similar to the U2 Hamburg gigs, only scanning backpacks etc.
They also blatantly lied about the ticket and Id checks-nobodies ticket was checked against Id when I was queuing.
There were also people waiting for a concert the following evening after the concert.

Really? All 4 Noel gigs I went to they checked ID everytime. People even got turned away.
  10. Was hoping to watch Liverpool v Huddersfield and then hit the venue on Saturday. It ends around 7:15. Is that too late to be queuing?
