2018-10-19 - Manchester
Tour: Experience and Innocence tour
Songs played: 24
Audio recordings: 1
  1. I would think Manchester or even London 2 is more likely for Noel. He’ll probably not be bothered with rushing to get to London 1 after his Q&A when he can see the show quite easily either side of that. Unless he’s got more Q&A’s booked, I don’t know what his schedule is like.
  2. Can’t see how he would fit though, couldn’t see him singing along to Love is Bigger or 13 and doubt they will return for a rendition of Don’t Look Back in Anger after Bono has walked off the stage but who knows given where we are and what happened in that arena 18 months ago.

Noel likes showman maybe they’ll give that a bash together as an extra song somewhere in the set, hopefully not when I see them though lol.

He's seen the show abroad already though hasn't he? Plus he lives near Oxford now, so why trek back up to Manchester when he could do the Q&A and an appearance on the same night - cutting down travelling.

Interesting note by Zooropa93 as well, DLBIA with U2 would fit well in this arena, but can't see them doing it again after the JT performance.

I never thought about where he lived, it would be a bit tight though with London traffic to make the first night. I guess we’ll see soon enough.
  6. Please no Noel Gallagher. I just want a pure U2 show, no messing about.

Three years ago, he took the tube to the U2 gig at the O2
  8. I just assumed he would get an escort or something. And bare in mind its a 2 hour show too, he can even arrive an hour late for when he's actually needed.

It's tube or chance it by road under the river via the Blackwall Tunnel which is a notorious traffic nightmare... I live 10 mins from the O2
  10. Looking at the travel times no matter what form of transport he took he would be late for London 1. I can’t see him turning up to the show late, I think if he wants to see the show he’ll go to one of the other nights and see it in full and have an easy journey before hand instead of rushing around.

True. I think for Joshua Tree he stuck around for every show he opened for.
  12. That would be the coolest ‘job’ in the world, opening for u2.
