I remeber this week when Beautiful Day was number 1 in Holland. I was 8 and at afternoon we had to go home from school, eat at home and return to school. Everytime I was home, I saw this beautiful vid with a great rockband at an airplane and planes flying over and stuff. I really loved it and from the moment I liked U2. When I got my first mp3 the first song I downloaded was: Beautiful Day. Since U218 Singles I really started to download their other stuff.
  8. Peace on Earth

Live Aid was the deal closer for me. I went from "I really like these guys" to "LOVE this band".

I remember watching Live Aid but I didn't really work out who U2 were until later. I was more focused on Queen...
