Yep. Just saw it now and came straight here to post the picture haha. Sorry to hear about your missues. Good news it's nothing serious though. I hope you can find some seated tickets.
Wonder if that’s him done or if he’ll see the show tomorrow as well. Cheers mate, I appreciate that.

Damn. Would hate to see how the crowd would of been during the tired, flat innocence section that the US had to deal with. Besides that, the show is pretty anti-climactic. I think it was a brave experiment having no JT or Bad in the sets but I think it ended up being a mistake. I still think this set is miles and miles and miles better than the sets we were unfortunate to get in the US.

Different opinion here. US set had cederwood and iris, making it very personal. Also electric co. So I preferred that in us.

Both were dead flat on this tour imo. Great songs but crushed momentum. And electric co was played only once so it doesn’t count. I was lucky enough to see it though.
  4. Absolutely fabulous evening, boys in great form, great section of GA crowd surrounding the e stage too, Bono in great voice, hope for more of the same tomorrow!
  5. What a show... love the new setlist, an enormous improvement on Paris.

Also, had probably the best slot ever by the e-stage. 8-9o'clock (if the wallway is 6) about 3 back...excellent view of everything !
  6. ...oh, and I am totally there for the message....ONE, (RED), Macphisto & the Dis-United Kingdom!

Having a great time up until the end of Best Thing then spent the rest of the gig looking for my missus who ended up in the medical room, she’s fine which is the main thing, looks like we’ll be trying to swap our GA for seats tomorrow though. Stay was not just the highlight of my night but the highlight of my music life, lets hope there’s some more special memories to come from tomorrow. Sorry I couldn’t make the post show chat like I told you I would Tim, I hope you understand given the above circumstances, hope everyone had a great night.
Sorry to hear this, hope she is doing better this morning. FWIW some of the people I spent the day with in the queue had a bit of a rough time of it too near the end of the show when the path was cleared from the e-stage for Bono to come off at the end which has to be the width it is because "Bono gets really funny about people trying to jump him when he comes off" (overheard a U2 crew member saying this), understandable of course.

However, one couple were separated either side of the cordoned off area, which I suppose in ordinary circumstances wouldn't be too much of a big deal you just live with it, but the lady in this couple happened to have had some pretty serious medical problems in the past and shouldn't really have been parted from her husband but she was without say in the matter, none of us had really been following the visuals of the tour, so we didn't know this was going to happen.

The ropes were pulled very tight around the people either side of the cordoned off area, we were all on the e-stage barrier where Bono goes out, I personally was fine but a not so tall lady I was with in the queue all day and next to throughout the show really struggled with the rope, and unbeknownst to me was trying to break free of it by going underneath so she could breath which security were having none of - it was either stay put or get out basically - so she ending up getting quite stuck trying to go underneath, and we had to have security come help, she ended up having to be carried out during the last two songs, I of course went with her to make sure she was alright, and thankfully was seemingly absolutely fine in the end and nothing that a good glass of water didn't fix up and we managed to see Bono disappear down a corridor singing the final lines of the night from our new vantage point, I think there was some dehydration going on too to some degree, but it could have gotten really serious. Not very happy at all about how they do that whole rope cordoning off business, no real forewarning about it or anything, and like I say none of us have been following the tour visually at least, and well you shouldn't have to, it was a bit rough for some people. That said not sure how else they could have done it really, but it was clearly a bit on the dangerous side.

Otherwise a very enjoyable show and day of it queuing up, I didn't see any of the screen visuals because of where we parked up, but the screen is always wrapping paper anyway, and music and a chance to see the band up close and personal comes first, and other than the rope issues, it was a really great spot to enjoy the show from. Highlights for me if I'm honest were mostly all the AB era tracks, especially WGRYWH which sounded exceptionally polished, GOOYOW was very enjoyable too. Audio wasn't the best I've ever heard, sounded a bit mmmm flat where we were to my ears, but not awful by any means.

Right now to catch up on some Zzzzz's enjoy tonight all those attending!
  8. Anyone else get a message from Ticketmaster saying they're on at 2000 tonight? Strange.

Also, great show last night. I was on the floor 10 rows back from main stage against RZ- great spot as there was rail to lean on and you had a great view of the screen. Standing again tonight but I'm too tired to queue so just going to go when the doors open and head to the e stage.

    Ya got that...not unusual
  10. Only cause I didn't get one yesterday- and does this mean they actually will start at 8 and not 830 like yesterday?
