2018-10-27 - Belfast
Tour: Experience and Innocence tour
Songs played: 24
Audio recordings: 1
  1. The SSE Arena was absolutely buzzing tonight - excellent show - it just keeps getting better and better in my book!!! Roll on tomorrow night!!!
  2. Just home- what a show tonight. Better atmosphere with the crowd than Manchester 2 last week. Picked a different spot beside the VIP and Red sections. Fantastic visuals and as a spectacle it was unreal. Great tunes for die-hards and first timers. Loved the new songs- what an entrance with Blackout

We always bitch and complain( me included) - we wish we heard this- why didn't they play that. We all have a favourite song/ album and tour. I hadn't seen U2 indoor since 89 before 2015. Tonight was my 5th indoor show in 3 years with another two to go this tour. They are amazing indoor. Over the last 3 years i have seen 3 tours over 50 different songs. They have played rarities in that time such as One Tree Hill, Exit, Acrobat( amazing tonight) but to hear Stay tonight in Belfast was unreal. Appreciate what we have. They as a band are really playing well- The Fly, Wild Horses and Acrobat are good examples of this. If you go again or for the first time this tour, get out and sing and dance. For me it feels like the end of something and i hope there is another new beginning not far down the road.

Agree 100%!We all have dream setlists that are impossible fantasies,so no point in 'Why can't they play this?' moaning. As someone who's only ever able to attend one show per tour, and couldn't afford to see U2 in 2015,I was thrilled to see them indoors for the first time, they're still an incredibly powerful live band.More importantly, they're still enthusiastic, with each other, for making new music, and re-inventing the old.(The Achtung Baby songs are nearly thirty years old but sound fresh as ever.)

If U2 want to take a break after this tour, they deserve it and they owe me nothing. But after last night,I'm confident they aren't for stopping anytime soon.
  8. Oh,and to the guy strolling around the GA area in full gold-suited and horned Macphisto splendour!
  9. I agree with Gerard's opinion. I found the encore a bit of a yawn, the end of the main set struggles to keep up too. New Year's Day is good though.

However, considering The Fly, Stay and Wild Horses are my favourite U2 songs and they're played in a row, I have never felt that invested in a show before. It was beautiful.

NYD Europe 18 relies heavily from the 2000 mix. I really like this one.
  11. Heading to BFS tonight.what time did they come on stage?
