for Dublin show I´m thinking about bringing in my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ 2000 camera, but it has lens bigger than 3,5 mm, so it´s not allowed. Do they have metal detectors in 3Arena? Or how it is with having some backpack? How big backpack is ok? I know they were quite strict in Berlin this year, so I didn´t take this camera with me there.

    Thanks for any advice.
Patrons are advised to bring as little as possible. Large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted Professional style cameras are strictly prohibited. The unauthorised use of cameras, video or any other form of recording equipment is also strictly prohibited. At certain events, the promoter or artist may request a ban on all photography. If this is the case, announcements will be made in the venue. No food or drink is to be brought into the venue.

Just bring it, Dublin security will usually let you through. 2015 was very relaxed. If they ask just tell them the lens is 35mm. It's a zoom lens you have I see, so when retracted is smaller than 35mm which is what they are looking for

    (I'm bringing 55mm to Dublin)

And yes, sometimes its a bit crazy and especially this tour the "3 days before" are nuts but its also fun. Plus, it is way easier on the body than coming in at 4 or 5 or so. The railspot makes such a difference. Jumping is easier, a place to store your bag/jacket and no one in front of you or beside you that annoys you. Plus eye contact with band members like Adam is also fun.

That said, I always have a great time whether I queue or not. And I LOVE this tour as for coming in around 6/7 and still have second row spots anywhere

  6. Hi Folks, I am coming in alone for Dublin4 on the Saturday, from Glasgow. I was wondering if there are any planned meet up's or if anyone wants to meet up for pre/post gig drinks. I was at Belfast and met some good guys from Birmingham/Oxford but dunno if they will make Dublin. Let me know. Cheers!
  7. I've just had a message from the person I'm going with Monday to say the line has already started. That's just crazy
  8. Was about to happen.

  9. GA info. Sounds like the laziest of queues ever.
