  1. Simply cannot understand why people do this. Do they have lives? You can literally get there at 6pm and be 2nd row- as I did in London.
  2. Bloody Hell are these just the saddest of the sad to start all of this now? Unbelievable. Truly. When you can waltz in half an hour before showtime and see it all from anywhere in the arena.
  3. Just two checkins per day when starting four days in advance? Generous to themselves.
  4. Crazy. I will spend my four days between Dublin 2 and 4 traveling around the country.
Why would you waste your time checking in a line when there's a whole country to know!
  5. I really can't see Irish people joining a queue more than a couple of hours before doors open.

If you're travelling here to see the band from another country, as a local, I'd recommend getting around the city and seeing famous U2 spots - The Church bar is gonna be the place to hang out.

I got to Belfast GA at 6.45pm and was 3 from very front rail.
  6. I'm happy to queue from early on Monday as I really enjoy the experience but this is just getting silly. I'll still probably end up checking in though but definitely not for Tuesday

I wonder who's going to be checking in for those out at Slane on Sunday...

  8. Id never join a queue 4 hours in advance, let alone 4 days in advance. People have little to be doing. Get out and see Dublin is my advice.
  9. I know the world is dumb, but you don't have to be....
  10. Queueing in Belfast was really nice, loved meeting loads of new people - even if the weather was a little on the cold side.
  11. I wont be queuing ,my back can barely hold for 2.5 hours of standing as it is.
I'll rock up at 6.30 ,have a few beers ,pick my spot near the B stage and enjoy the show.

The furthest seat from the stage in the 3arena is 60 yards ,thats less than the nearest seat in the cavernous Croke Park.
Indoors is the way to see the lads , so much superior in every aspect.
