    (I'm bringing 55mm to Dublin)

    Hi Remy,

thanks for answering, I took this camera for Nick Cave´s concert this year in Austria (first time having it in concert) and didn´t have any problem with security. But I wasn´t too much experienced with this particular camera that day, so results wasn´t good at all. I hope for better pictures now in Dublin.

    Cheers.

Great! I'm happy to give you some tips if you want, concert pics are a different kind of game when it comes to photography and can be very challenging but doable
  3. How much are 3A U2 GA tickets at FACE?

If you're travelling here to see the band from another country, as a local, I'd recommend getting around the city and seeing famous U2 spots - The Church bar is gonna be the place to hang out.

I got to Belfast GA at 6.45pm and was 3 from very front rail.
The thing is that when U2 plays Dublin, Irish people are in the minority! It's mostly us foreigners who travel from around the world to see them.

Thanks. Yes, concert photography is quite a challange. I´m usually doing U2 pictures, when I visit their concerts. Doing it from 2005, since I saw them for the first time. During last years I got better equipment, but far from professional. This Panasonic camera, which I mentioned, is the best one, which I´ve ever have.

If you´re interesting in, for example, here´s some photos from London 2, which I did last year (using the Olympus 1s Stylus).

Actually I wrote to Dublin 3Arena and after couple of e-mails they confiremed me, that my Panasonic should be fine. As it doesn´t have detachable lens, it should be ok. But you never know during checking in entrance of the arena...

Don´t you know (or anybody else), if there are metal detectors in 3Arena? Maybe it would be better to have my camera hidden in backpack.

Haha that's true actually! And we're happy to have you! But don't waste your time down at the arena - its freezing cold and there's nothing to do there - get in the city and have some fun while you're here!

  7. This will also be fun. Those were the $775 GA's that were sold.
