Fair enough in that respect, long for the days of lovely tickets through the post like zootv days .
  3. Jeez.. lining up at record shops, department stores and malls trying to get tickets. Getting old *sigh*
  4. I remember having to go to a bank in Lisbon to collect mine for Popmart 97 .
  5. Comes across to me like an obsession with being in control of their world in combination of fomo. Once you got a high number once, that experience in itself becomes a achievement, and you don't want to settle for less the next time. At the same time, they (incorrectly) feel that everybody else wants a high number too, so they'll start queueing earlier and earlier.

Funny thing to me is that this entire 'being first in the queue' is no longer a means for getting a good spot and experiencing your favorite band up close, but a goal in itself. Which even leads to them cutting short on their actual experience, by leaving the concert they 'queued' for four days to go and get a high number again
