1. I love the Pop Mexico DVD. What a show, and no Hamish Hamilton to speak of.

Did I just say that out loud? I'm sorry, but he's a poor director (fire his arse and throw him out with Red Light) who shoots a scene for literally a millisecond - check out Milan and don't forget Sunday Bloody Sunday on the Chicago DVD - it's literally tragic. Go back and direct Britney concerts eh? But I will say he did an excellent job on Electric Co. on Chicago (and that is the only credit I will ever give him). And I'll be honest, even parts of Elevation Slane and Boston were pretty poorly directed.

The 'vocals but no movement at the station' during Zoo Station really pissed me off big-time though. How the hell can you miss it? Are you a wanker?

But then I've seen other DVDs that sucked big-time. Maybe worse than Chicago...is that possible?

aw, you don't wanna go there man....not the whole hamish-hating discussion again...I'm not a fan either tho.
  4. when you're actually considering getting a Tatoo related with the band!!!
(that is if you still don't have one!! I know at least about one who has)
  5. I've seen better directing jobs from my arse.

To direct maybe one of the greatest rock bands in the world, to see his 'style' is sickening. If you're gonna direct, fucking direct, don't scratch your crotch while you're doing it. And then to top it off, he says he tried to do it for the fans - because I love paying $35 for a DVD which was possibly the worst effort of any director.

Yeah mate, the fans like a DVD which resembles a concert, not someone who's trying to direct drunk.

What'd they teach him at directing school? But then again, if you've ever seen Channel Seven's coverage of the V8s, you'd think it couldn't get worse. But it can.

As much as I agree, Drew....obviously someone in the band (or maybe Mr. McGuinness?) likes HH's work enough to keep him around. It's a style that he's developed over the years of doing lots of concert work and even though it makes a lot of us dizzy, apparently it's the effect the band (or it's management) wants......which is a shame.

Ha. Splendid. I thought he came across as a bit of a ponce to be honest. If he did the Chicago DVD, then I can blame him for buggering my head up everytime I tried to watch The Fly lol. Every fucking second it's "NEW CLIP NEW CLIP NO FOCUS ON ANYTHING MUCH BLURRING YOU WILL NOT KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON C'MON FEEL THE NOISE"
