It must be bizarre for the one time show goers who get to hear what Bono’s going to say half a second before he says it from none other than the person standing next to them lol.
I have to say the shows they’ve been playing lately have really made me reconsider my whole opinion on rotating slots. I used to think it was a pretty important part of the tour, particularly when playing the same cities a few times but honestly when the setlists this good I don’t need or in fact want rotation. Last year I was good with it too but i was basing that on the tour being all about playing TJT in full which the band were fulfilling so I wasn’t really complaining but I didn’t think I’d be this satisfied with 1 rotating song a night a year after.
