I find it insane to leave a show early in order to be able to queue for the following night. But leaving early for a show that takes place three days later at the same venue?? Don't want to offend anybody but to me that sounds like a serious mental disorder in need of treatment.

Especially when from experience and reading forum posts it is quite clear that you don't need to queue for days to get a good - a REALLY good - spot anyway.
they don't want good spot, they need front row as drug and don't care what is played...

Don’t worry for all the _______ (please fill in with your own insulting term), there’s also a lot more good guys. I met some guys from Texas at the second show in London, one of them going to his 22nd show, one of them going to his 1st, top guys, the crowd generally were respectful as well although I’m sure the people you are talking off probably were there somewhere but it doesn’t change all the great experiences we have and all the great people we meet that outweigh them, and as Alvin says they are not even fans whether they claim to be or not.
  3. They will leave early in Berlin, too, and start a queue for the next tour in 2022.
    I feel sorry for them.
  4. I saw 4 shows in this tour: in 3 of them, I queued just 30 minutes before door opening. In two of them I was in the 2nd row, on the other on the 3rd. The other show I queued 1 hour after door opening and was stil about 5-6 meters away from the rail.
    That's just crazy.

  6. I know all this queuing is madness but for people who will only attend the last Dublin show (or, in general, the last show when there are consecutive nights):

When there's no GA line for the last night already: Do a roll call right after show start, let's say 8:45pm. I guess no one will leave the show right after The Blackout
  7. it's stupid, but who cares? just have a laugh about it.. we're all doing stupid things, sometimes it's hard to draw a line.. I think underlying problems should be tackled and one of them is those stupid roll calls.. as long as you're taking part in it, or even initiate it, you're part of the problem.

it's always been laughable to me. these guys are just power trippers and control freaks here in the States, and as long as people follow their rules, they'll keep doing it, and getting everyone into a frenzy. (not unlike our politicians) Most of us Americans are easily led sheep these days. And hey, if it gives these "line monitors" a sense of importance in life, more power to them!

on both of the last 2 tours (TJT30 and e/i) I drank in the pub or tailgated in the parking lot until an hour before the show, strolled in and found my perfect spot on the floor, and didn't miss a song. (ok, maybe one song, when the beer worked it's way to my bladder ) But even after a trip to the pisser, I easily made my way right back to where I was...

    ok. there's my rant.
  9. How was GA for the two gigs ? Rammed or space to move around, manchester was ridiculously empty , heard Dublin is opposite, doing sat nite Looking to get there @ 7pm, as long as can get to and from standing space to toilets and back I’m good
  10. It was fine, not too tight or too much space either but it did empty out a bit for the encore!

    I’ll post a review later.
