(not unlike our politicians) Most of us Americans are easily led sheep these days. And hey, if it gives these "line monitors" a sense of importance in life, more power to them!

on both of the last 2 tours (TJT30 and e/i) I drank in the pub or tailgated in the parking lot until an hour before the show, strolled in and found my perfect spot on the floor, and didn't miss a song. (ok, maybe one song, when the beer worked it's way to my bladder ) But even after a trip to the pisser, I easily made my way right back to where I was...

    ok. there's my rant.

Are these GA line freaks the same people,in the US and Europe, following the tours around like a travelling circus? The behaviour is the same but is it literally the same people doing this all the time?

Also, will they be leaving Dublin 4 early in order to head for Berlin?!

I think they confuse themselves when this situation arises. An internal dialogue must ensue and possibly cause a crisis. I really find this behaviour very very odd. Spending all that time in a dictatorial line for no reason whatsoever when you consider most of us who have seen this show know you can walk in an hour before the show and be in the second row.

They should charter a flight from Dublin to Berlin immediately after Dublin 4

How exactly do you know this????and how many people were doing it ?I don't believe U2 fans are that crazy I don't see what benefit queuing 3 days in advance would be you can stroll in 2 hours before the gig starts and get an excellent spot near the stage or the screen.
  6. Lol, being front row at a U2 show is overrated anyway. As they've continuously said, due to the way they do their shows, being somewhere in the stands is honestly where it's at. GA is great too of course, but you don't get the full effect of the show at all.

    GA to be with fans
Stands to get the best view

But yeah. Celebrity worship is dumb as hell anyway and I'm not wasting that much time on anyone for something like that, not even U2. Especially (as others have already pointed out), showing up within an hour of the show gets you real damn close anyway.

These people aren't even diehard fans, they're insane people trying to prove something.

There are to many crazy u2 fans. But They must be fillty rich to be able to follow them on tour.
Heard Brigitte is one of those crazy fools follow u2 all over the world and queibg. She was pretty agressive, read it in the dutch topic about the ambaterdam show.
I had the ‘pleasure’ meeting an italian dude going to all of the shows. He was right next to me and my wife in the Paris gig GA. He was talking loud the whole time and was on his phone the whole show until i said i would bust his nose if he wouldn’t go away, during summer of love / pride.
