I've been silent for a while instead of participating in discussions like I used to because of the change of atmosphere around since the last album and tour started. I wont be coming back to this forum\site as the relentless negativity becomes unbearable with time.
And I'm not talking about negative opinions on the band's work, which is of course perfectly fine. I really dislike the encores myself and I'm glad to discuss that, for example.
I'm speaking of the hostility of some people commenting. Hostility towards other opinions and towards the band. I saw some days ago someone say "fuck these guys for X thing I don't like" referring to the band. I don't think insulting other members is allowed on here, would insulting U2 be ?
Some of you will never be satisfied by anything from the band anymore in any way, and it feels like following U2 is bad for your own mood, so I suggest stopping, really.
Sorry for the long ranty message, I really didn't want to make it about myself or anything, just felt it needed to be said. Most of you here are really lovely people and that should be said too, I enjoyed these forums a lot ! Hope all the best for this community ?

Who would have thought that the band would deliver in this tour these songs all together: Gloria, Dirty Day, Zoo Station, The Fly, Stay, Wild Horses, Acrobat...Epic! If it weren't for the much needed rest, the lads would have to consider adding more legs to this fantastic tour.

I’d disagree with that, amazing energy from start to finish in the room last night, compared to Tuesday. Tuesday was great last night was Epic

yes totally wrong !!!
dub 1 was dead then dub2 was really really good but last night topped it big time !
i looked around from time to time and there were loads of standing people in the seats ! also the sea of hands during gloria already told you it was happening !!!
from then on with dirty day perfectly going into zoo it was a train that had taken off, only to take a breather for best thing and sol which is cool, then shut up the talkers for pride and the rest .... city o b l also kicked ass !! just try to look around and it was rocking, even the cool people in the red zone were singinv along and some had faces like: i am not supposed to show i like this but man ... it rocks !
out of the 23 shows this autumn so far this one is right on top , such solid joyfull powerfull performance .... it just needs landlady in the end after woman of the world i,d say ... and maybe the miracle with bono coming back on stage and the band joining together on main stage at the end for proper goodbye !!!
