2018-11-05 - Dublin
Tour: Experience and Innocence tour
Songs played: 24
Audio recordings: 1
  1. Savour this...it is almost over... then we are nothing

  2. I don’t know why I’m feeling there’s something cryptic behind this
  3. Tonight was awesome. Best show I've attended.
It was special from start to finish, you could feel it in the air. The band could feel it
    - The energy in the GA was amazing, jumping throught most of the show and singing along to most of the songs
    - GOD that Sgt. Pepper's snippet!!
    - Larry turned around and waved to the crowd during Stay
    - Dirty Day kinda set back the crowd, but the few who knew what was happening loved it. I loved it. The visuals are amazing. The performance itself sounded better than last night
    - MacPhisto itself was kinda moody. Saying goodbye
    - Bono fucked up Summer Of Love by the end but he didn't panic
    - Landlady was lovely. I'm not a fan of the song but it was great
    - One without a speech! And a great performance
    - The Miracle snippet was kinda messy. But it brings the whole thing full circle.

Overall my favorite show ever! Dublin was amazing!
  4. It really was amazing, show just felt so tight and it doesn’t let up with the inclusion of those AB songs. Still hate the ending but understand what they’re trying to do... it’s just unsatisfying.

Bono did say some things during the show that really did make me question whether or not this was it. During Dirty Day and Macphisto... really do wonder if that’s the last time I see them.

I’d it is, ended it on a damn good show with 2 fantastic shows in the US earlier this year. Lucky to have been treated to so much music from the lads in the last four years, grateful for how many times I’ve gotten to see them.
  5. Post more stuff people who were there!
  6. I really couldn't get over the smile Edge was wearing all night. He was so into it.his smile is ferociously infective too, it just adds an extra 10% of enjoyment to the whole thing.
  7. I was told to sit down by venue staff about 30 seconds into Blackout because “you bought a seated ticket, you should have bought a standing ticket if you wanted to stand.” I was royally peeved by that. People in our section got into it later on but I was a little annoyed for the first few songs... reminds me to never go in the stands.

Reminded again how impressive it is that they are pulling off a show without any Joshua Tree material, but it leaves open space for so much great stuff. I thought Get Out of Your Own Way really held it’s own, that song probably translates best live out of all the new ones. Crowd seemed into it, same with Love is Bigger.

I do miss SATS from the US, just energized the acoustic section a ton more than SOL.

Hoping beyond hope it’s not the last time I get to see them!

Hate it when security staff get overzealous with stuff like that, it's U2 not Chris de Burgh ffs - people are gonna go for it. Bono's intervened a number of times down the years with that shit from security, including my very first U2 gig at Sheffield Arena on the Zoo TV tour, where they couldn't rip the seats out for GA, and people, myself included, were clambering over seats and enjoying themselves... during 'Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses'... "and you lied to me... you said there'd be no security... Jerry... how come we're friends?"

  11. Just some couple of pics I got.
They really seemed to be saying goodbye.

    Wild Horses was amazing too
