2018-08-31 - Berlin
Tour: Experience and Innocence tour
Songs played: 25
Audio recordings: 2
Videos: 1
  1. I think it will be more like the Dublin 1 and 2 setlists. I hope, but not sure, Dirty Day and Landlady are done tonight. They may have been a Dublin thing. Especially Dirty Day. The fact that they are the least played and they did not even rehearse them last night is not a good omen. But there will probably be a lengthy soundcheck today.

what i hope is for RFD and Landlady to appear

They haven't rehearsed anything and I doubt they'd risk to fuck it up for the DVD

DVD????Believe it when I see it never do they release a DVD from one show it will be heavily edited and made up from other shows. The Paris I&E tour film was made up from 4 shows the live TV broadcast was completely different to the DVD also there is a different night filmed in pro shot up on YouTube wasn't there a stage invader during One who Bono made sit on the drum riser?
  4. I'll be shocked if they don't release this show as the DVD and include Desire, Staring at the Sun, and American Soul from DC as special features.

This is the way better performance and they know it - they're not going to splice together material from shows on different continents, from different legs, to try to make a cohesive show. They've never once done that.

  5. Nobody knows about pre party show at Hopfenreich brewery
Met the guys 1 hour ago outside Waldorf Astoria
  6. I hope this is not the end

The TV broadcast was different cos it was 1 whole show - the DVD was made up of Paris 3 + 4 with bonus material from all 4 Paris shows if I remember correctly - If I'm honest I think it'll be like Elevation where we got one DVD right off the bat and then a different one a couple years later, otherwise the most likely thing I can see happening is a double DVD of the Washington show and Berlin 3, and who knows what they'll do with TJT30
  8. I don’t think it will, don’t worry. Just end of tour nerves, like Lovetown and 360, etc. I think we’d know if it was ending

The optimist in me hopes for one (just one) JT reference, like a snippet will do - the realist in me can't see anything other than Dublin 3/4
  10. It'd be cool to get a deluxe package from the tour and not just all separate DVDs. Paris, DC, Berlin all on disc, with an actual nice package and some great special features...I mean, the e-stage songs from 2015 alone is enough bonus content performance-wise.

There are SO many behind the scenes clips that have been shown over the years, editing them into little vignettes for special features would suffice.

A great memorandum of an era that has technically lasted 4 years - an eternity of a cycle of U2.

The TV broadcast from I&E tour was shockingly bad it was so flat not the band's fault but HBO and whoever directed it .I've seen other live TV broadcasts they've done from South America during Popmart and Vertigo and they were really good nearly as good as the official DVD's release from the tour even Willie Williams noted how good they were in the U2 show book.
  12. They gotta play RFD, possibly in addition to Gloria.
