Dan, that's...well...utterly shambolic. I need some cider now!

Might want to make it Scrumpy. Or Diamond White.

It's not even on my iTunes....

Well, when I ask father to purchase some when he wanders the way of Tesco's, he gets Gaymers' "Olde English" all the time, even if I ask for something different (I'm the only one in the house who drinks it...), so Scrumpy is a no-can-do. And you're getting me (and yourself) off topic Dan...

    Overrated songs?...Hmmm....

As if I would do such a thing....

Overrated = Beautiful Day, Gloria, Two Hearts Beat As One

Just plain crap = Miami, Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car, Grace

Argh. I agree that Two Hearts Beat As One isn't as good as some would make out, but BD and Gloria are good enough to be considered "un-overrated" in my view for sure. I think Miami is great live, Daddy's Gonna Pay...is a little favourite of mine so take that back (as is all of Zooropa lol!), but I agree about Grace...it really isn't anything much at all...

Why does everyone insult the Beatles by making that comparison?

The Beatles were great! Oasis are just.........well.......................shite.

I love Pop and Zooropa in their entirities except for those two songs accordingly.

I don't like Peace on Earth either, but understand that it resonates for some.

Nice little song in general I think (even for those who don't know the meaning i'd guess). I've always liked it but then again I do live only 20 miles away. . .

The comparison being made is that the Oasis sound is reminiscent of the Beatles. Which it is.
No comparison of the qualities of the two bands was made or indeed implied. So I'm not sure quite so many puke-faces was required...

I just find it a little slow and meandering. But I see the quality.

    Hmmm, fair kop chap

POE, I like it but it's not amazing. I think I prefer the lyrical aspect more than the music, the lyrics really speak volumes but the music just doesn't fit a bitter song for me. If you want to really capture the feelings of a bitter song, you should follow examples like Please or SBS, i.e. intensive use of minor chords lol...
