    BTW: superb version, indeed, although I prefer the later ones when they actually stopped several times for Bono's verses to have bigger impact.

    That's one of the (few) things I like about Popmart over other tours: they were SO underrehearsed by the time the tour started that many of the versions evolved throughout the tour instead of staying the same as usual.

    U2 Popmart Wembley Rushes 1997...only the first 12 minutes but pro-shot, I wonder where the rest is ?!

  6. There might not be a "rest"... These 10-15 minutes (usually the first 2-4 songs) are recorded in what I call "medium proshot quality" (aka basically 2 or 3 cameras, the ones they also use for the live production... not the full 10-20 cameras set that's used to record a proper concert film), then sent to national TV stations so they can do their reports.

    That makes sense...would be great if more rushes surface from elsewhere but it is over 21 years ago.

    Yes the earlier shows were interesting, despite the flaws I like them!

  11. Just playing POP and I still can't believe all the haters - ah well, I guess the album only appeals to the fans with a higher IQ than the average Taylor Swift fan

    It's like playing a jack hammer through your speakers - refreshingly not plagued by the banality of later over-production.

    I want my POP2022 stadium tour and I want it NOW... well, in 2022 of course

    So I HATE Taylor Swift but I hate on her, not people that like her. That IQ statement doesn't sit well with me. Music is subjective AF, who are you to decide someone isn't smart or intelligent based on the music that makes them feel things?
