I got the plastic helmet from the best of 1980-1990 in wooden box.
I know that there are different versions, metal and plastic.
Does anyone know how many exist of the different helmets?

Very rare and expensive
The RSD version says 18 April
If you mean white cover ( not white vinyl )

It is from the first Modena 1987 show and I always assumed that this was the Fabio Minotti recording. But since I have been sorting out the various recordings of this date, I discovered it is neither the Minotti recording, nor the 38f source.
Check out the samples on the show page / audio tab: just before Bono starts singing the first line of Running To Stand Still, a guy in the audience says something in Italian. I have no idea what he says, but it is definitely not heard in those two known sources mentioned!
Anyway...always loved this concert as it was one of the few Joshua Tree live shows I had access to back in those 80-ies days![]()
Listening back I still feel the love, but I don't think it was their best European show...
PS: The Godfatherecords bootleg "Modena 1987" is to be found on both Modena pages as "Part 1' and "Part 2" ...the flacs are new to U2start

I intentionally got the RSD version because I think it's legitimately a better cover. Very old school; just a white cover & simple label. I like it better than the Larry cover.

Great bootleg!
I bought it before Christmas of that year if I remember well
Played many many times in my life
During Running to stand still a man shouts : Spegni! ( which is : turn it off! ) but I don’t know why. I was there at that time but not in the field so I don’t know what had happened
But the best comes later when the man seems to say : Dio boia ! Which is ....God executioner!....sounds like a blasphemy
After that Bono thanks the crowd ( for singing with him or for having stopped the mess- who can tell?!)
Btw great bootleg.not the best audio but one of my favs just because I lived it
