I mean, who would tell such things? The man with the mask on St Barth? The man at whiskey bar? Or the
Lugano Tree dreamer? Certainly not the man with a baby at his arm...

No way they have their minds on setlist right now. Let alone they would have agreed on a setlist...

Unless LN has forced them into a ATYCLB 20 Anniversary Tour....
    Hahaha this +1.

They barely finished plotting the big stadium shows, no way anyone is already thinking about things like a setlist, show duration or mini surprise shows.
  2. And songs that haven't been played? A handful left from their catalogue. And most aren't worthy of a spin live anyway
  3. Weren't they supposed to play longer sets for EI too

Don’t you want to hear Grace live?

I think they mean songs they haven’t played in Australia ?

of course they won't have a definitive setlist already, but I think they already have an idea of what they're going to play. Will they focus on The Joshua Tree, or on the last two albums, or a mix of those three. I'm sure they've already sat down to talk about songs. Have they ever planned a tour without having any idea of what songs to play? I don't think so. And there are a lot of songs that have never been played in Australia, so maybe they just meant that with 'not played live before'.

Yeah...maybe they meant that...of course they meant something like "not played live in Australia/New Zealand before..." duh...

But the whole point of my "funny-meant-post" is that it is just not how it has been put...

Glad to see that at least some could see the humor... if only @Remy
  8. For the sake of all the badly-served Australasian fans, I really hope that this tour does happen, and suspect that it will. However, the U2 Australia tweets read like somebody's wish list! U2 aren't Springsteen, they're not likely to start playing marathon shows this late in their career when they've never really felt the need to do so in their younger days. While it'll be interesting to see what the theme of the show is (a continuation of JT, I+E/E+I, an amalgamation, or something new etc), it's far too early to speculate on setlist content!

Anybody started lines / check ins in the rumoured cities yet?!
  9. I started the line for Brisbane after with or without you finished on Dec 9 2010
