1. Thats ok u2 has lost so much traction here in this part of the world u2 would be lucky to fill an indoor arena, i suspect that some of the delay or unsurety of this tour might come down to LIVENATION sussing out whether they would sell enough tickets for stadiums....

Better to not tour than have to embarrassingly either cancel a tour or play to half empty stadia in the main capitals!
  3. U2 will fill stadiums no worries. No doubt seen more as a legacy act but I’ve got no concerns about sellouts.

I find an announcement in the 8th for ticket sales on the 12th a little short/unlikely. Not much time to fit in U2 members, live nation and other presales...

If they market it as greatest hits, they will sell out a show in each city for sure.
As for on sale dates, I would say announcement 8th, presales 12th, general sale 15th
  5. Exciting stuff for all you in that part of the world!
  6. Jeez you're a bundle of joy
  7. I’ve already spent a small fortune going to see the Stones in NY/NJ in June. Can’t stretch to another big trip any time soon.

Edit: And soon after this post they announce a postponement!

  8. Some mad posts in this thread. Very tense!
  9. I think the delay in announcement is due to uncertainty in choosing the Asian dates.
