    It was a hell of a show, spectacle, song selection, and performance. Pretty much every other tour apart from ZooTV was missing one of those factors.

    It was unreal.
  3. Late 2010 onwards for sure. I don’t really care for 360 before then. Bono’s voice was not good in 2009. Breathe was great though.

    Don't get me wrong, I loved the 360 tour and highly regard it. I guess with the lack of love for NLOTH and so much talk about other tours, I feel this one has lost the momentum/luster it had back in 2009-2011.

  6. That setlist is Zoo TV part 2, nothing new. I prefer the first leg of the 360 Tour, when they had the guts to open a show with new songs. Unfortunately after a while 360 changed into a greatest hits tour.

    I remember when they had the guts to open a show with new songs but i’d be going back as far as 2015 and 2018 ?.

    360 is a strange one for me... I liked leg 1 but it went downhill in leg 2. The 2010 shows were cool but didn’t like the early 2011 shows and it turned into a polished greatest hits tour which was nice and safe. Bit like Vertigo really.

    Nah, I think there is a general agreement that after all the bang and bluster that the tour has been mainly forgotten - even by the band.

    Sure, I agree that the band kicked ass at some shows and that they could still play the 'oldies' with gusto and all that is positive stuff, but like other fans have said, it's since faded in the memory and that's because the majority of fans felt no love for it.

    Fans were originally blown away - including me - by the spectacle but after the tour finished it lost something and that's because it was all 'bang and bluster' whereas fans felt there was something more 'real' and 'honest' about the other tours.

    Again, the band played well enough, there were some amazing shows and setlists, no one is denying that, but the majority of fans feel no love for the tour.
  9. Vertigo Tour is too widely hated on. It’s not necessarily U2 at their best at every show, but it was sort of the best of U2 in a way that wasn’t too much “greatest hits”. For setlist variation U2360 wins OVERALL but that’s because it changed a lot from 2009 through 2011. For night to night variation, you can’t beat Vertigo.

    not entirely true in my opinion.. they dropped some NLOTH songs, but they were changed with a couple of unreleased songs. And after that they inserted Zooropa, Blue Room, Scarlet and even Love Rescue Me at some point before preparing a Achtung Baby heavy setlist for Glastonbury. 360 had a lot of song variety, and maybe it's a shame they dropped some great NLOTH songs (Unknown Caller was my absolute favourite on the 1st leg), but it was only on their second run through Europe and the US and they were not just exchanged for greatest hits. Maybe just in the end, but I'm not sure if Even Better, The Fly, Miss Sarajevo or Hold Me are in the greatest hits category. They were all quite fresh back then. And like I said, there were some rarities played as well.

    Also why would they continue promoting the album? They weren’t releasing any new singles from it.
