The digital release of songs of innocence was released the day before my wife passed away from ovarian cancer. The song Iris has had a special place in my heart since I first listened to it September 10th 2014, never knowing she’d be gone 12 hours later. I’m never sarcastic when it comes to U2.

I'm very sorry for your loss. A recurring theme among so many fans is the comfort the music brings when tragedy strikes. It is woven into the fabric of our brief stroll across this earth and we are better for it. Our family could testify to that, along with dozens of friends we've made in the U2 community.
The cover art is great, imho. I'm assuming Amp Visual or professional designers of a similar quality are responsible for both this and the photo book. I'm excited about it.

Thank you!
I agree about live releases though! I love that iTunes has the releases from rock and Roll Hall of Fame concerts and all I just wish the concerts from Boston 1981 and from the love town tour could be officially released on iTunes. It was a bummer when they removed them when they removed The Complete U2
