  1. Yeah, Lucky Dip is great. Especially when you want to do multiple shows. Huge change of getting a GA (tip: wear a Stones shirt when you pick up tour tix )

    Nobody ever confirmed how many tickets are actually GA (or "front of stage"), but on IORR the reviews are almost always raving. And some people want seats, so it can help talking to the people next to you in line about their wants.

    We are delighted to announce the new US and Canada tour dates today! All of the cities from the previously postponed shows are locked in, starting at Soldier Field in Chicago on June 21st and including a brand new date in New Orleans! Tickets sold for the original date will be honoured - fans DO NOT need to exchange their tickets. Those who cannot attend the re-scheduled date can refund their tickets by accessing their Ticketmaster account. For transferred tickets, the refund will go to the fan who originally bought the tickets, once they have been transferred back. Tickets for New Orleans will go on general sale Friday May 31, at 10am (local time). The pre-sale for the Rolling Stones mailing list will run from 10am on Wednesday May 29 to 10pm on Thursday May 30 (local time).     It's totally awesum that they could reschedule the whole tour still within the 2019 summer

    I guess that is the advantage of having a rather limited number of dates

    How does this lucky dip process work?
    If I could see them for $35, I'd seriously think about seeing them.
  7. "Lucky Dips" are advertised as "could be anywhere in the buiding." Most of them are (usually) GA tickets and some of them are actually No Filter Pit tickets (I know from personal experience).

    You can only buy them in pairs and you need to pick them up (with your ID + cc) at the venue on showday.

    I’m still not understanding.
    Do you buy these in advance (if so, where?) or do you just show up on the day of the show at the venue?

    I just looked on Ticketmaster at all of the shows I could attend and no lucky dip option was visible anywhere.
    I need more specific details about how one actually purchased them in the first place.

    The get sold out almost immediately. They went on sale back in November.

    Yes, you buy them in advance. But as @Welsh_Edge said, they tend to sell out pretty fast.

    But if you managed buy them you will get an email with the details where to collect your actual tickets. And this actual ticket will get you into the venue. Big chance it is standard GA, but it may also be seats in the back...or front row pit...if your LUCKY

    Ah, so finding out about the existence of these just yesterday was one big tease for me then?

    Then, I wish it had been written originally “$35 lucky dips exist WHICH ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE” - I wouldn’t have gotten my hopes up then.

    Oh well - I’ve seen them before. There’s no way I’m paying the prices that are currently being employed - pure highway robbery.
