Up near the tree is the best, where the catwalk joins the tree also quite good.
On the main stage, the band is set up to perform on the other side of the catwalk, in front of GA (not RZ). Of course they'll move over in front of RZ on occasions, but not that often.
The main stage is also very high, around 8-9 feet. The catwalk slopes down quite quickly from the main stage to the height of the b-stage, which must be around 4 feet. The corner between the main stage & the catwalk is pretty bad. As the catwalk is very high at this point it blocks views of the band on the main stage. (Note: for the pic below, this is not where the band perform from. You can see Bono's mic stand on the far right hand side of the image)

The area up near the b-stage will give you very good views of the visuals on the main screen, & obviously you'll be pretty close to the band when they perform on the b-stage (though, depending on your location, you may be looking at their backs).
Just be aware that in 2017 there was a boom camera setup for the b-stage on the RZ rail. This effected some people's view in RZ, towards the top of the tree.

It will depend on the stage shape which might or might not be the same as the 2017 tour. In that tour the best spot was at the top of the tree, yes.
