If they do Ultraviolet just some days before?
    Honestly??
    No!
I find it a stretch. Bono also repeatedly praises journalism which we know the Saudis don't. I felt when some top athletes were in Saudi Arabia recently that it was a front to Western values and ignorant. This isn't petty paritisan gripes this is public executions. A whole different world.
  2. Just wondering if anyone has a spare presale code that they won’t be using please? I already have a membership but I’m planning on going with my family and are a few tickets short, and would love to all be together in GA. Thanks in advance, if anyone could help out, I would be very appreciative.

  3. Any confirmation on Singapore dates ?

I think Singapore is half way to Japan and Korea? No sense at all going back down where they came from.

You're are 100% right in my opinion Chrisssie.

The article is just a guess. The reporter is pretty up front he's making that guess based on the fact that U2 have a week long "hole" in their schedule. But he totally ignores the fact that U2 has already announced a show in Singapore which isn't yet on the schedule, and which, by all accounts falls on that week between Perth and Tokyo...

Since the tour routing was set, there has not been any rumoured cities other than the ones that are currently announced and Singapore...No one from the tour planning / logistics / band crew etc have been talking about the middle East...

    Great idea! Thanks!!

Thank you so much for sharing your information with us.
I don't see this to be a given.
I never had any doubt that this tour is going to happen, maybe a bit of doubt after they postponed the 2nd announcement. But basically I was 1000% sure that anything you and the other on u2songs.com wrote was reliable and sounded realistic.
Will one of you also be travelling to see some of the concerts?

I wouldnt go to see the Joshua Tree tour again even if I got a free seat.
The only way to enjoy the show is in GA up close ,anywhere else and its a struggle.

The screen is largely redundant for huge sections of the show ,its not showing the band members so if you are far away as most seats will be in Australia you will be looking at dots on the stage.
They need to switch the show up ,cut down on the imagery and Corbijn videos and show more of the band.

I'm doing GA up close, or lets say I'm trying to.
It worked out well for the last three tours
  9. The second U2 plays UAE/Saudi etc. I am done as a fan.
  10. I agree that GA and up close is the best experience but now that I am in my mid-fifties, I am reluctantly coming to grips with the knowledge that my spine can't handle standing in the one spot for hours on end, so I'll be looking for seats at most of the shows I'm going to. I say most though because I can't resist the idea of doing a couple of GA shows one last time; knowing that I'm going to pay for it by needing pain meds the next day.

By kind to your body kids, it's the only one you get!

When I‘m doing GA, I have to stand during the show only. Most of the queuing time, I‘m sitting.
Even when I‘m inside the venue.
No need to stand more than during the show...
  12. Ha ha sure aren't the Saudis good friends with the US ,every country has laws we don't agree with .
