He's spot on with that version though. Great stuff.

This rocks! Great for karaoke and guitar improv purposesThanks for sharing.
UV is one of the hardest songs to play (and get right) on guitar IMO. It's so tiring for the right hand and arm. You've done a great job thereLove the percussion as well (is that congas a la UTEOTW intro?), although the tambourine at 3:10 and 4:30 is a bit too prominent. Other than that it's a neat version!

Thank you so much!! It's just a bit too high for my voice (as are most U2 songs which sucks!) - but it means I can put more effort into playing the other instruments.
It sounds a bit like that now I've had a break and come back to it, it's just 2 percussion tracks that happen to work quite nicely together, and yeah by the time I'd recorded all the drums and moved on it was gonna be too much of a hassle to record and produce them all again with a nicer tambourine level, so I'm alright with it - but thanks for the lovely comments!!

Bono has shown some truly insane voice ranges throughout the years, Ultraviolet is one of them for sure. I was singing along to The Joshua Tree earlier this morning while in the car and I was amazed at how few of the tones I could reach in full voice - and I'm now roughly the same age as Bono was when they recorded that album. I used to reach all the tones with no problem but not anymore, at least not while seating and drivingSo I definitely get where you're coming from!
