    Since 2015, I've heard 9/12 of AB. Last year in Europe they played a huge chunk of it and in 2011, they played a decent amount for the 20th anniversary.

  2. Apart from Berlin connection it almost felt like they played a lot AB to have arguments in potential talks with Live nation - look we played it already we will not do that!

    Personally I would love zoo tv rebroadcast tour (not necessary AB30) though it might not be the same level of extravaganza as in their 60s :/ will see stranger things happened in music business
  3. I wouldn't want a reboot of Zoo TV either, and as people have said the band have played a lot from the album in recent tours. Attending Joshua Tree 2017 at Twickenham and E&I at the O2, aside from three songs I've seen a large chunk of this album done. And if Bono tried to be The Fly now it would just look desperate unless he did a toned down version like the reboot of Macphisto.

    TBH a lot of people were Gob smacked when they announced the JT tour in 2016 many saw it as a major cop out and cash grab , however it's become such a common trend for bands from the 80s and 90s to tour their classic album's as their new music gets very little airplay and sells poorly .It's hard to know where U2 go from here will they even bother releasing new music again or will they just do a Greatest Hits tour next time they go on the road

    It is a fair point though they definitely hadn’t played as many tracks from TJT to the extent of AB. Then again zoo Station hasn’t been played much since the end of the Vertigo tour really, that wasn’t exactly a massive run of shows it got last year, a decent run but it’s still been underplayed over the years, Wild horses is the same and the Fly hasn’t exactly been overplayed either even if we go back to the 360 performances. The other 6 I’ve not mentioned have been played quite a bit from 360 onwards at least. Still give me the tour.

    Ultraviolet only appeared in two tours sonce Zoo, same goes for Zoo station and Wild horses. EBTTRT/The Fly a bit more. Not counting the big three from AB, the other four songs are underplayed (O on Tryin, LIB and So Cruel sonce Zoo, and Acrobat only just got a live version in 2018).

    Also: the world needs more Macphisto. Bono had a blast with it and it showed. I do not think he cares to bring back the Fly character. This need not be marketed as zoo TV 2.0, but AB30. (even if i would love to see Willie Williams go to town...)

  9. Very slim to none. I guess in Asia though, anything is possible. It's a different world there.
  10. I'd say high, not from Australia or New Zealand but either Japan, Korea or Singapore is bound* to be broadcast.

    I'd say India will be broadcast been the last show and such a historical event ,the media have really picked up on them playing there,or even South Korea which is equally as historic for the band.
  12. I'd expect any broadcast decision to hinge on ticket sales and anticipated fan energy. If Indian or South Korean crowds are as raucous as they are in Mexico or France it could work but not if they're politely restrained.
