    I'm with you 100% on this; it makes absolutely no sense at all. Homebush was always going to be available and Bankwest, with it's steep seating would have brought people closer to the action.

    As I said when this tour was being rumoured, there is an international test cricket match being held there only 6 weeks later. That's barely enough time for the surface to recover; and there were already concerns about the extended use during the winter by multiple football codes.
  4. Could SCG simply be the cheaper option? They chose Twickenham over Wembley in 2017 for example possibly cost related as well.
    Don’t know though just guessing.
  5. They could easily come back to Oz. Just do one show in Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane at the back end of an already existing tour and it will be profitable.

    Wouldn't expect so, but who knows. It's extremely rare to have concerts there. None in the last decade, & two charity concerts in the decade preceding that (Wave Aid for the Indonesian tsunami, & Sound Relief for the Black Saturday bushfires).

  9. So throw in during that ‘rumoured’ rehearsal time frame .. you have had Larry in different cities giving worthy speeches. The Edge was photographed at times in different continents (no where near the ‘rumoured’ rehearsals location ) and Bono was off with two ‘stately’ visits ‘saving the world’ and has been on ‘holidays’ all this week in French Polynesia! That leaves Adam mightily well rehearsed, the others or as a collective I’m somewhat skeptical! Funny thing is Adam is the least likely to need a rehearsal , he is always as tight as a drum!!

    So ur ‘source’ gives the ghost up , they have done F all rehearsing !

    Lmao umm ? so I too believe UR ‘source’ as most of what I quoted they have actually reported on and all that I quoted isn’t rumors it’s facts !!

    I ask the same question? with all that stuff going on individually how much true rehearsal time have they had In the space of a couple of weeks !?

    I mean I even tried to walk u right into my punch line with my last few words hinting that I am quoting ur source and u still didn’t get it!

    You just can’t stand agreeing with any view I may have about our ‘beloved ( all be it somewhat stumbling to the finish line of thier careers ) band !
