  1. Anyone know where they band are staying, or whether they have gone off to Mercury Island again?( Like the last two tours)
  2. Hey team, Im in RZ solo for night 1 and GA with a mate for night 2. For those who went in 2017, what would you recommend in terms of viewing points, timings and just any tips to get the best experience possible? will be my first U2 gig so want to make it memorable cheers
  3. If this system isn't officially affiliated with the band or the venue I'd be telling them to f*ck off.

Locals have every right to be annoyed. This quote is spot on. "What is upsetting to NZ/AU fans is that international fans are dictating who gets on the rail, how about you multi-tour fans take a back seat for a change and let us Kiwi / AU fans get on the rail. We have had to wait for nine years for this tour back to NZ. This is just seems mean spirited by international fans no respect for local fans at all."
  4. It’s bloody annoying and has been going on way too long, tour after tour. Same faces in the first 30 every time. Let the NZ fans decide how this should work. They have waited years for this. Show some respect you goons.
  5. Btw- I’m number 27 ?

    Joking obviously

I saw the show 3 times in 2017 in various spots. On the floor, the screen is so massive and stage taller (height-wise), my recommendation is to be closer to the “tree” stage. That gives you a solid view of all of the visuals and gives you an up close to the band on the tree stage at a more reasonable closer to eye level. I was about 20 ft off the tree stage directly behind the drum kit. Other than the mob of people squeezing in on you, the experience and visuals were stunning when the screens turn on. Have a blast! I loved hearing some of the songs live in person. Exit live still is intense and awesome!

This has been happening for 20 years..the "superfans" work with venue security who in turn work with band security. It's been allowed for so long, how can anyone say it's not affiliated with the band? This argument has been ongoing through several tours
  8. The GA real queue will form at 3pm today with a possibility that people have to stay until tomorrow morning. So overnight camping fun!

that's almost how it should be, but I guess this is still based on an already existing list?
